Presentation

For Everyone

Session Description:

Data is undeniably important—but when every decision is reduced to numbers, do we risk losing sight of quality, intuition, and human judgment? In this session, I’ll share my journey of questioning the over-reliance on quantitative metrics in product decision-making. Drawing on years of hands-on experience, I’ll reveal the pitfalls of “blind” data-driven approaches, and why evaluating performance and candidate suitability should focus more on quality rather than a flood of numbers. (This sharing is based on my reflection article I wrote last year)

Key topics include:

• The Limits of Quantification: Discover why trying to measure every detail—from individual contributions to multi-factor influences—can lead to analysis paralysis and even misdirected strategies.

• The importance of intuition, user experience, and qualitative insights

• Effective Use of Data

• Supplementary Reflections on AI and the Future of Work

4. The Human Side: Intuition and User Experience
